Gotta love cruising the pads tossing that jig! Those crappie are the same genetics as Talquin, and they get very big in Iamonia!
We're going this eve for a bass trip!!

Crappielimits I wish I could go fishing as much as you!!

Bass are blowing up in pads to the right when you come out of landing. Near air boat runs.

Is dipping minnows in the pads the best method to catch the crappie or trolling with jigs outside of the pads on Lake Iamonia? I'm green to crappie fishing. Thanks for any suggestions.

It can vary. Each technique has its time and place. We been casting jigs to pads doing very well too. I personally don't fish live bait much but it is very effective and probably the most used tactic on Iamonia.

Like crappielimits said I like to troll the pad edges and cast jigs at the edges, let them fall to the bottom then reel.

A ton of fun on ultrlight tackle especially when a fat flier takes it!
