    Has anyone fished high falls lake for crappie?

    Dinks. It gets fished hard. Mainly for crappie. I haven't fished it in several years. I live 10 min. away and pass
    It on my way to Oconee. They in there though.

    Hey Kbaker, I think I remember GON doing an article about crappie fishing on High Falls a few years ago. I thought it was interesting and would be a fun lake to give a try. You might want to go to GON and search for the article. Good luck.

    Hotwater on here who you need to talk too,he'll probably tell you to go to Jackson though

    Yes he would. Like mlhare said: "lots of dinks". However, if you do fish High Falls you may want to consider fishing in Watkin's Bottom or Buck Creek. If you put in at the Buck Creek ramp head towards the main lake. When you get to the main lake go straight across and you will enter a big cove on the other side. That is Watkin's Bottom.

    Caught a lot of nice crappie 12 to 13 inches a couple of years ago but started catching a lot of dinks and haven't fished it in a couple of years. May have to give it a try next fall.
