Default Anyone know good spots in Savanah?

I will be in Savanah in late Feb/early March staying right by the convention center. Can anyone direct me to some good spots for crappie in that general area. I will be there for a week and a day or so, but during the week will not be able to travel far, so distance is an issue. Also what are they hitting there? I have a wide array of tubes and grubs and some sliders. Thanks.

    Default No boat.

I will have to fish from shore with my one ultralight 4'6" BPS ultralight and shimano TX500 reel spooled with 4lb yozuri hybrid ultrasoft.

Give me some details on your trip. What dates will you be here? When will you be available to fish? I have a boat and if the timing works out I will pick you up and take you to a little spot I know. Around Savannah there are not a lot of places I know of where you will catch a lot of crappie, but I do know a couple of places where you can catch some. One place is in the Ogeechee River and the tide dictates your success. The other is a good run up the Savannah River but you don't have to worry about the tide.
Also, I can let you use some of my rods/reels if we are able to get together. They are not real fancy but they get the job done. I also have plenty of tackle and am willing to share.
