I troll with 4 lb Crappie Max it but I shoot docks with Trilene Sensation Orange 4 lb.
Mr. Crappie Hi Vis 6 lb test is all I use for trolling in lakes with lots of structure where hanging up is bound to happen. Mr. Crappie Hi Vis 6 lb test is all I usually use in any lake, but extremely clean lake such as Monroe or Crescent I will go with 4 lb Mr Crappie. Keep in mind I only troll.
Mr. Crappie 4-6 for long lining and Mr. Crappie 10 pound for pushing. all high vis

I guess I am an odd ball. I didn't like the old Mr Crappie line nor the BPS Crappie Max line. I have always and still like the Viscous PanFish HiViz in 4,6,8, and 10 lbs tests. Use it for shooting docks, jiggn brush and trees, longline, spidderrig, and pulln cranks. Always get the bulk spools for Viscous and Monks has it for $7.99. I have seen some of the small filler spools not be worth a darn. When I need a clear line, I like the BPS Excel clear or moss green in 6 and 8 lbs in bulk spools too. Fixn to order some more from Monk and respool everything this summer.

I've recently changed out my Crappiemax for some Yo-Zuri Hybrid and really like it so far. The breaking strength seems to be higher then the crappiemax which is important when snatching litewire from the lumber. Right now I'm useing 6lb but will change to 4lb as soon as I can find it in large spools. Here is a chart on Yo-Zuri strength.

THE BEST TIME TO FISH IS WHEN IT'S RAINING AND WHEN IT'S NOT RAINING
Never tried....use Vicious 10lb for spider rigging and trolling. 4lb for shooting docks. 6lb for casting.
I made fun of this line when Timbo pulled out his rods at Talquin on a cold February day. When he had me 14 to 0, I axed him if I could barrow some. I rigged two poles and they started catching fish. When we got back to the Lodge I purchased a spool and rigged the others. Today every reel I have, including bass and bream, are rigged with 4. 6 or 10 lb. It works for some reason. Come to Talquin in November and look at every reel, you will see this Hi Viz on all. Nough Said!
