I wouldn't be very happy about not catching many at Oconee but the looks of the slab you are holding makes me really miss being there ..One slab on Oconee can make a whole day cause they know how to pose and by the way I would do it again and again..Great Pic

Them Oconee Crappie look so good, they make my old spray painted hunting cooler look like one of those fancy 400 dollar Yeti coolers. Now that is some good looking fish.

Fishin on Oconee just hasnt been the same the last several years. Wonder sometimes about if it may get over fished on the crappie. Dont want to hear someone say its impossible cause if it can hapen in the oceans it can happen at a lake.

Yall might as well stay out of Double Creek (Double Branches) They aint nothing to see in there Naw.. it wont get good down that end for a few more weeks, clear and cold on that end. Up river and up Richland will warm faster and sooner.

Fished the 18th thru the 20th and graphed fish around there and they were still in 35-40 FOW down on that end... Caught a few and i mean just a few up Richland in 20-23 FOW. Mainly on that monday.
