    With all the rain. Where should be the best place to fish(Sinclair,Oconee,Blackshear) this weekend?, I'm new and still learning the tricks.

    6 of one half dozen of the other. I would go to the one close to you. Fish are bigger in Oconee but harder to catch.

    But if you choose Blackshear, try the south part of the lake. It may not be too muddy to fish by this weekend.

    hit a local pond (imo) the lakes are screwed for awhile :/ coon tracks at sinclair and Oconee still cold. Cold wind coming this weekend just ruined it for me. Good luck to them boys on Oconee at the tournament.

    if you live in Byron go to Blackshear. i think it is closer to you than sinclair or oconee. Either way fishing will be tough this weekend.Windy forecast and big cold coming

    With gas up to 3.55 a gallon, I'm staying home and watching the race Saturday night. Like others said, rivers are screwed for the next week or so. Plus, wind and water temp isn't going to make for a very fun crappie trip.

    I'll be on Oconee tomorrow afternoon but I think the weekend is shot...unfortunately.
