    Default Lake Eufaula (Florance Landing)

At last, feeling almost good enough to go fishing. Went to Eufaula, put in at Florance, went up the lake. We fished the creek on the left (we call windy lake) and then the creek on the right. Caught fish all day but most were hand size+. Here is a few pics.......really surprised to see fish in the back of creeks with 50 degree water temps........but what do I know. I will probably go to Blackshear before going back to Eufaula.

Thanks for the report and glad you are doing better. I will probably head over there the week of the 18th for my annual MLK crappie day. I didn't get over there last year like I wanted to. Any reports from down the lake on the AL side? There was a creek down there that was good in Jan a couple years ago.

You may not have caught Lake Talquin size, but it looks like you had fun.

The "only" way you can fish in those areas is Litewirehooks. First time I got hung, I pulled up double jigs that someone had lost.......I used the jigs.
