Glad to see a report from there lightwire. We are going over friday and saturday aint been there in about 6 years. Anybody else been lately are got any advise.
At last, feeling almost good enough to go fishing. Went to Eufaula, put in at Florance, went up the lake. We fished the creek on the left (we call windy lake) and then the creek on the right. Caught fish all day but most were hand size+. Here is a few pics.......really surprised to see fish in the back of creeks with 50 degree water temps........but what do I know. I will probably go to Blackshear before going back to Eufaula.

Good to see you feeling good enough to take Chuck and his girlfriend out fishing...Hope I can give a good report from Crescent Lake this weekend!!
Thanks for the report and glad you are doing better. I will probably head over there the week of the 18th for my annual MLK crappie day. I didn't get over there last year like I wanted to. Any reports from down the lake on the AL side? There was a creek down there that was good in Jan a couple years ago.

You may not have caught Lake Talquin size, but it looks like you had fun.

Lightwire..........Those pics of windy lake brings back a lot of memories. Mostly of re-tying jigs....LOL!!! One of the prettiest lakes you'll ever go to for sure, at least on the Northern end!!
