    Default fruit jar tourney UPDATE


    Richard (jigslinger) and Coop (gtojoe) would like to thank everyone for there input on the tourney we are going to host. Seems there are bass tournements going on at allmost every ramp we checked so here is what have come up with. Well mostly richard cause i was out of town fishing. Sorry Jigs.

    GA JIGSLINGERS CRAPPIE TOURNAMENT
    When= Saturday April 14 2012

    Where= Blue Springs Marina, Lake Oconee

    Registration= 5:00 am till 6:30 am . we will leave the dock as soon as everything is set after registration closes

    Entry Fee= $50 per boat and a optional $10 per boat for big fish pot

    2 fisherman per boat limit

    At least one member of each team has to have been a member of Crappie.com prior to 3/27/12

    7 fish limit per boat. all fish must be alive at wiegh in. dead fish will not be allowed

    you must be back at blue springs by 3:00 pm or you will be disqualified.

    pay out will be 1st place 60%

    2nd place 25%

    3rd place 15%

    Big Fish 100%

    Everyone is encouraged to arrive as early as possible to allow plenty of time for launching boats, registration and a livewell inspection

    I will be there unless some kind of emergency happens.
    Do we need to launch boats right when we get there or do we need to wait until we register and you inspect livewells etc?

    Oh, and what about some sort of bags to put fish and water in while we are waiting to weigh in? Should we bring out own of some sort?

    mtnman you will register we will inspect the boat and you will launch and wait for the start time. everythin else will be covered

    Hey Coop/Richard, I have never put in at Blue springs. Is it pretty much smooth sailing from there to sugar creek? As in water depth/stumps etc? I looked at my map and it appears it gets real shallow around Parks Ferry campground but if you stay to the right it looks ok. If its clear and smooth then I will let my old 175 Merc black max sing right along. Lol!

    Its all clear all the way...want take u but a minute to be at sugar creek with a 175
