Just got off the phone with sugar creek marina....they have big bass tourney out of there that day so I guess public ramp will be the best option.

Sounds good to me. Keep us posted. I will be there!
Richard, based on previous tournaments I will just about guarantee that the public ramp will be packed with bass boats. You may want to consider another ramp? Maybe the old (Collis Brothers) not sure of the name now. It is at the mouth of Lick Creek and the main river run.
Im not sure where that one is earl....is that the big place that used to have the big american flag?

I have been wanting to participate in one of these but it has never worked out. Keep me in mind. Also, Long Shoals might be a good option.
Jigslinger, Blue Springs Mariner has new owners and would appreciate you guys have the Tour. there. Call Benny Or Janice Smith @ 706 342 9446 if intrested.

Earl has a point. I remember last time I fished down there that they had a bass tournament going on the marina at sugar creek was packed and there was probably 3 parking spots left across the lake at the public ramp. I am sure they were all bass tourney people because it was all Ranger, Skeeter and Triton trailers.
Long shoals wouldn't be bad and I have never seen it really packed. Its pretty simple to get to straight shot off of hwy16 and that new convieniece store they built were Walt and Johnnies used to be sells minnows if anyone wants to buy some. Would kind of be a good central location for the people wanting to fish up Richland and about a 15minute boat ride to Lick creek and maybe another 10 or 15 to Sugar. Blue springs is nice too but like you mentioned above, would be long haul to the lower end of lake or up Richland.
The one Earl mentions would be perfect too if they will let us use their place. Its called the Marina at Southbay now. Think it used to be Collis Brothers and Brantleys Marina and Gun at one time.
Just trying to think of something mid lake since its on the weekend with pleasure boaters and bass tourney going on that water is gonna be rough if we have to travel very far.
I am game for anything and thanks for taking the time to put together something like this. Its going to be a blast even if I don't catch a fish worth weighing!
