    Trying to rent a place on West Point for vacation. Are there any crappie guides for that area? Also looking for entertainment and eating suggestions. We're not hard set on West Point yet. We need to be in driving distance of Columbus.

    I agree with Smarrfisherman cause Highland Marina is a great place for a vacation and they have several guides there. The people there also will help you and your family in finding entertainment anywhere around Lagrange Georgia.

    Bobby Wilson use to run a guide service on West Point. Ask the folks at Highland Marina if he still does. He had a great reputation and as far as I know still does.

    Don't think Bobby guides anymore. I talked to Joey Mines and he said that Bobby's health wasn't good and he thought that he had just about stopped guideing. I agree Bobby was a great guide.

    Hey thats right Papa Dawg. I plum forgot about them. They have some great vacations rentals. They are on the Alabama side of down closer to the dam. I have never stayed there but it looks like a great place.

    I live about 10 min from Highland and am on the lake pretty often. Depends on what days your here I could help you out. I work Sat. Sun. and Mon. but the rest of the week I'm free
