Yes. I kept 24 good size crappie. I will probably be trolling early next week - Monday or Tuesday. I saw several more boats in the timber again yesterday between suar creek and I20. They stayed there quite a while so they must of had good luck.

Mtm, welcome to the post, I hope you and your Dad catch a boat load. I no nothing either about the lake but with these cooler temps. it should start picking up. As long as you have a game plan you ought to do fine. Good luck with the bachlor party and the crappie fishing
A crappie day fishin beats working any day!!

Thanks guys. Wish us luck. Dad wants to start out at Long Shoals and head over to the timber close to the dam and around Richland creek. Back when we use to have a place on the lake close to long shoals he always did well fishing in that area. Probably start out in the timber by the dam at sunrise and if not having much luck we will take a long boat ride up to sugar creek area and try up there. Again if anyone on here is out there fishing and see us stop by and shoot the bull with us. Will be in a red/white Ranger 374v with a 175 Merc hanging off the transom. Hope everyone has a crappie weekend! haha
