Thread: Allatoona bite is on.

Got out on the water today around first light and fished around victoria. Caught one nice crappie and decent spot trolling a crank bait; also caught a a channel cat and small spot trolling jig - nothing else.
I was trolling around .8 mph and my lines seemed to be running way behind the boat - am i going to fast, need more weight, or is that normal?

This was my first time trolling and thought the lines would have much less of an angle when pulling them. Any tips would be appreciated.
