Welcome...There are several of us that fish Talquin...matter of fact, headed down there this afternoon...We are having a "Get Together" down at Lake Talquin Lodge on Nov 5....Looking like about 60 people are planning on attending and we'd love for yall to come join us!!
New to this posting, so I hope I'm replying right. We would love to come, but I have to work. Talquin Lodge is the one past the Boy Scout Camp, right? We use to call it Gaineys. I hope ya'll have a good fishing trip and cookout.
There are two of us that will posting with this user name:
Mac-43 Sgt with Dept of Corrections
and
Katina-39-full time student
We have two daughters (15 and 12) that love to fish just as much as we do. Katina is a retired member of the Talquin Hookers.
New to the site and just posted my first two replies last night and tonight. Fish alatoona with boat kept at victoria; it's nothing fancy but does the job. If anyone knows how to fish allatoona, but doesn't have a boat and would like to go out sometime, let me know. It's a pontoon rigged up with 8 rod holders, basic fish finder, and trolling motor. Now i just have to learn how to find the fish.
Hope to learn from all of you and I'll try and keep everyone posted on my progress of learning how to fish crappie; I'm originally from new orleans so i might slip occasionally and call them sac-a-lait

Welcome to the boards guys.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Yep-that's what I was wondering. Not familiar with that area. I live just off Lake Seminole and the Flint.
