Papasage> weekend was tough. Wind howled like a banshee for 3 days. We only had 5 boats in the tourney so the top 3 won prizes.

1st Crappiefisher and I. plus big fish
    2nd Robert Henderson
    3rd reelcrappie and Paula

Other than the wind it was a great weekend. 4 days on the river is always good times. The cold made the fishing hard but they would bite if you could keep the boat in position. Believe it or not a person was LEARNING how to waterski Saturday. Made me cold just watching. we met some new fishermen and ate some good food. We burned plenty of firewood in the cold. Wind stoped us from nightstalking. I feel lucky to be able to attend these get togethers. I have met some great folks(and some bad) at these slabfest. I am glad I have time to enjoy these events. I feel sorry for all of you stuck there working while we were fishing the wind. It was a blast. I pray more of you are able to come to the next one. Wherever we decide to get together.

you right joe... He has inspired me to get smaller. Wish papa could be at all of these. He is one of the best people you will ever meet. Lots of fun to fish with and he makes a mean pot of coffee.
