Default 3-16 bucket of lanier crappie

Had a trip this morning and we met up at 7:30 and headed for the spot, We could tell right away the crappie were feeding and feeding heavy as we could see them hitting top water, YES crappie will hit top water. Caught a lot of good fish today trolling and it was steady action the first 1.5 hours then they slowed down but we were still able to keep catching them. We tight lined of the front and long lined off the back, both were catching fish. Lost more than a few at the net but hey, you cant catch em all ( but you can try. LOL ) water was 53 to start and 55 when we got off the water. Here is the fish I brought home and cleaned. Notice how thick these fish were we found. Good eating size with a lot of meat.

Good report and some nice fish. Looking at the picture of the depth finder I guess you guys were mostly targeting deeper water today?!? Thanks for sharing the pictures (we all LOVE pictures:D:D) and congrats on the catch.

Excellent Report and a very good catch. I really like the picture of the Graph showing water temp and depth. Thats information we can all use, without giving away the exact location of our "Honey Hole"...

LOL guess we are going to have to show these "guides" how its done legally They should all just chip in and buy their own dock to fish instead of fishing on anyones private docks.
