I pull alot of double 1/16ths during the spring, but with 10 rods the lines arent but about 18"-24" apart and when youre so into the fish that several rods are going down at once you'll get some of the most worst tangles you ever seen. Life is ALOT simplier pulling singles and just adding weight to get to the desired depths.

I take a set of knitting needles with me on the boat to undo my tangles!:D

Believe it or not, most of the water lice and pleasure boaters arent on the water until about 10AM-10:30AM. Being a holiday weekend is probably the reason I havent seen what usually looks like bass tourneys going on evrywhere and at about all the ramps. For the past two mornings there havent been hardly anyone fishing and nobody on the water until late morning and the boat ramps at daylight are practically empty except for maybe 1 or 2 that's striper fishing or bass fishing. You guys are missing some great fishing opportunities this weekend by thinking it's overcrowded, especially the morning hours.

papasage, looks like it's ready to go and waiting for ya to pull the trigger. How many rod holders do you have set up for each person to fish?
