Wed, Thurs and Fri nights. The slabfest is on for May 29. By the way, we had good luck Wednesday night (31 keepers), Thursday night (19 keepers), Friday night the cold front gave them lockjaw ( we ended up with 10 keepers, but only one over 11 inches). About half were females that had obviously spawned but still had a few eggs in them. Fishing should be really good for the slabfest if the weather cooperates. See y'all there.

Slabfest have not and will not Die. They will go on. Slabfest is about sharing secrets, fishing holes, work, and all that goes with having a good time. That is why we started all of this. I have met life long friends at Slabfest. Some of them even still like me. lol
the tournaments will be sponsered by locals on some lakes and the sign up and weigh in will be at locations other than our camping site. Weigh in for tourney will be 1 1/2 hour before our slabfest weigh in for fun/trophy. If you want to be in the tourney at harding you must Sign up at The Landing at the LongBridge in halawaka creek.

Hey Smitty, Hope your Slabfest goes well and wish I could attend. If I could make a suggestion, you really need to clean up, edit or delete some of the Slabfest threads, There's a Slabfest thread on the main page and one on the GA page. It lists dates that aren't going to happen and rules for tourneys that were for money. I think if you cleaned the threads up, people wouldn't be guessing if a Slabfest is going to happen or not and what kind of competition was involved. Good Luck, Ron

I most likely won't get to this one. I start chemo on the 26th and may not feel up to going anywhere.
