That's the reason I pick my dates wisely. I shoot for Tuesdays and Thursdays mostly and even then it's hit or miss with the boat traffic. I could run off on a tangent about jet ski's but I won't.
Well Ellis, I caught my first fish shooting docks yesterday.
It was a Chinese fire drill, with the wind and all the boat traffic. The wind I can handle and I expect, the jet skis and runabouts are frustrating but all they do is bounce you around some. It’s the big boats, man O man! They don’t make a wake, they create big swells and they sneak up on you. You’re lining up your next shot or in the middle of a cast and the boat just falls about three or four feet out from under you.
If I had that on video. It would be a You Tube sensation.

It aint how big or how fancy your boat is, it's how many fish you can put in the frying pan!

All of my fish have been on tree tops in 12-14' of water but have been some nice fish. went Sat. caught eight 1.25-1.50 fish and Sun. five the same size and left by noon. Tried the dock but no luck.
