I am planning on taking a trip to blackshear later this week....Anybody catching fish?

welcom js2320 . i haven`t ben in a while but frome the reports i have herd they are mooving into the shallows . i am looking for the lake to be hot for several weeks . would be there for the next 3 weeks if i could .i would try around the shallows around the cypress trees and flats

Thanks I have not been to blackshear since last year....had some really good days there last year....hope to catch some on thursday.....I was just wandering if anyone was catching any.....

not much reports on blacksher in a while .

i went to blackshear saturday and caught 10 nice size males that were close to the edges. all caught on minnows about 3 to 4 ft deep . weather was not good either. good luck.

thanks fireman1501.....sounds like i am going to need lots of luck....just got off the phone with a man who was there monday afternoon fishing.....he only caught 7 keepers...said the wind almost blowed them off the lake....well i am going to try it tomorrow afternoon

I went yesterday afternoon caught 29 keepers most of them in 4 to 9 foot of water...they were biting slow though
