Default Fishing Club of S. Georgia in Hahira

anybody know or heard of them? They are running an ad for members and claim its good crappie fishing.I have bought membership's for Christmas for gifts the past 2 years for my grandchildren and they turned out to be dud's of a lake, even tho they looked good.Ran into lots of these that are not what they claim to be.This is supposedly a 250 acre lake. Thanks

The past will certainly repeat itself here too...250 acres will barely keep me and my partners busy, if'n he sells memberships then it's just a matter of who gets the first membership and starts loadin the boat with em.
I'd ask him fer references from current and past members, don't know if you'll get the truth out'ta any of em but at least ya tried to keep it on the up n up

This is what is found when you Google it up. There are 5 docks located on it and several homes. Looks like a property owner may be scheme'n up some side money. There is no registred club or company for the South Ga. Fishing Club but it does have an address and phone number

Been to a few like that, very disapointed cause they could be great. The only really good ones I have been to have a season, limits and agressive management tecniques, like a huntin club.

Lillypad, the best gift I can think of is a guided trip with a reputable guide, learning & catching fish with out the hassle.

The wife and I were discussing the club this morning. The ad is several months old. Apparently they are having problems getting members. Sounds like they want some property tax money.
