X2 and throw out some jigs and troll around...some folks will be tightlinning but MOST will be trolling........there is a great map at Ingram's and probably at Talquin Lodge that shows the lake when it was drawn down years ago to help you see what's under the water too....good luck.....I hope I get down there some time soon too

there are plenty of folks fishing that weekend. Where are you staying or launching? Let us know what you are fishing out of. I am fishing out of a white carolina skiff (19') with a mercury 90 and a 15 hp yamaha.

I will be at Lake Talquin Lodge and normally have coffee at the tackle shop from 6:00 to 6:45.

Give me a holler and will be glad to introduce you to others.

Rusty and the gang will get you going in the right direction when you get there. Fishing hasn't been real good lately but should be good, in time for your visit.
