My cell number is 912-657-6539. Please give me a call and we can set a time to meet up. I will be staying at Tent Site #4, I'll be the fat bald guy......
Birddog,
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
Hey Bird Dog, Will try to see you Friday afternoon or night to register. am going to try to fish a while then come to the campground to visit you to register. Your discription sorta fits me also.

I just noticed I had the wrong landing in mind. I was thinking Long Shoals. I need directions from anyone who knows the area.....I will be coming from Perry, GA off I75....thinking of going to Gray, GA and getting on HWY 129....not sure from there......thanks

HWY 129 shoudl take you to Eatonton. From Eatonton take State Route 16 (Sparta Rd) east to Wallace Dam Rd, turn left. You should be able to follow the signs from there.

Sounds easy enough, I hope they have good road signs because it will be pretty darn dark when I come in!Originally Posted by birddog

Isn't that the way most Shine Runners like to travel, in the dark?
