    The air temp. that is. As far as the fishing it is real slow. The wind is kicking pretty good here, which means the main lake is hard to troll in. By noon it even got a little rough under Smoke Bridge. Hopefully by this evening it will start to smooth out on the lake. And by the way, these little black flies are terrible here. If you are on your way make sure you bring plenty of bug spray.

    LOL yep Jim , couldn't believe it, calling for 95 deg. a record not broken since 1911 or some such, wow! LOL Them little black flies are So Ga.'s official birds , the GNAT. See ya in a few.

    LMAO!!!!! My step Grandfather's name was Maud.. Maud used to walk around town with a hole in the seat of his overalls and folks would say " Maud, you got a hole in your britches.. " Maud replied " Yep, That hole helps keep the gnats out of my face.." True story!

    If I remember right a few things will keep the gnats off you for a bit..

    #1 Maud's theory

    #2 a couple drops of diesel fuel ( never tried that one )

    #3 Avon's Skin so Soft ( Confirmed to work )

    Yep, hope the clouds roll in but not the rain. Looks like a good chance 2morrow of the rain. As for the gnats.........turn your hat around backwards and use some skinsosoft like mentioned above. Doesn't sound to man-ly but it sure beats dealing with those gnats landing on your face after they have been on something elses rear end!!!! See ya'll in the AM.
