Yes, we will still be fishing the tournament on March 3, 2012. The fish are already wet! Just joking. Seriously, we will watch the weather, and if there is a need, we may delay the start or cut the tournament short. I will have my 12 year old son with me. I will be watching the weather and sky as much as anyone will be. Most likely, there will not be a change. If there is one, it will be handled at the Captains meeting at Leroy's on Saturday morning. I hope the weather man is wrong again and we can fish in decent weather. Bring a rain suit and make sure your bilge pump is working.

I want to clear this up right now. This is the quote from the very begining: "Only weighing 7 fish which MUST BE ALIVE to weigh-in. " A participant can keep up to the legal state limit if they wish to do so. They can also place those fish that they do not want to weigh-in on ice in a cooler if they wish to do so. Please do not confuse this part and if there are any questions by any participant, please be sure to ask at the Captains Meeting Saturday morning. This is exactly why we have the meeting.

You can keep as many fish as you want up to the legal limit of thirty per person. You only weigh in the seven largest. The seven fish have to be alive so keep that in mind if you only have one live well. Some folks bring a cooler with ice for the ones they are not going to weigh in. GOOD LUCK. You will meet some very nice and knowledgeable crappie fishermen and women. I wish I could make it!

Shug. We would be glad to see you at Blackshear. Yes, keep what you want within state limit and just keep the 7 biggest you want to weigh-in alive.

Jroz no problem just want everyone on the same page.

Thanks Earl for the kind words and for replying.

Look forward to seeing just how big the winning 7 are gonna be!

Wow I just looked at the weather prediction. It now says that the wind is predicted to blow out of the WSW between 20 to 25mph. I hope that ain't true cause my back can't handle that much wind. Luckily the fish that I have found is in a protected spot from the wind but if its gonna really be that strong I might have to just watch the weigh in but right now I'm still planning on fishing it.

Wind blew today. Rained all around. Fish still hungry! Get u a rain suit and find a sheltered area and get you some!

Water warmed up a lot. Still fish in the channels too.
