Please keep us up to date on your news.. I hate to hear this but God can pull you thru anything. Find your faith in God and you will know God is there.

Wes,Thats the first i've heard of this. Would you be offended if someone were to start a benefit just to help you and your family out, not to emply that you're not financially secure but to help ease the burdens...Prayers sent towards your surgeon that his hands (in gods guideance)will send you to recovery at the days end to begin a better life... One that can serve our lord to the best of your abilities with the improved body he is about to bless you with...Its OK to be scared and its OK to vent your frustrations right here with those of us whom are concerned for you and your families well-being...We are part of your family too, Keep us posted.........JOE

Piedmont Hospital is a fantastic facilty. You will gain strenght from people you have never met or known my friend. Our thoughts and concerns will be with you and your family the entired time. Now get yourself well, you and your son have alot of fishing to do in the near future, plus isnt it about time you get that new boat you been wanting anyway? Take care my friend and prayers are already being sent for you and your family. Rick

We will be praying for you and your family. Please let us know if you need anything.
    Birddog,

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.

I agree with Jim on this one, attitude makes a world of difference so keep it positive. News like this is always a shock to you and the family and it never comes at the right time. The last few months we've dealt with cancer and heart conditions and I know how bad the initial news sucks, but it gets better. Your gonna have to deal with it, get the problem fixed and go through the recovery period, there's no way around it. Best of luck to you and your family and you will be in our prayers. Please keep us updated on how things are going with you.

Wes you know you'll be in my prayers as well. my girlfriends sister had the very same operation done 2 years ago at the same hospital. shes doing great now, it took a month to get back to (for lack of a better word) normal.
with in 3 months she was back hunting and fishing. prayers i beleive are still the best cure for everything.
    Got crappie?:D
