The other sad thing about this is this: it had been going on for some time, but nobody ever mentions that it was the girls fault as much as his...And she gets away with it hardly without a mention!!

For what? That's a pretty bold statement there. I agree, it does appear to be messed up, but you are only reading a small news article. There may be more to this story that we aren't hearing. Did you even consider that the laws in Florida mandated an arrest? Remember one thing, the police do not make the laws, they are only tasked with enforcing them. If the Florida legislature passed a ridiculous law, then place the blame on them, not the police for enforcing said law.

Now, I defended my profession. I now will get back to fishing.

I know Jim, just talking junk,I probably shouldn't have said anything after thinking back to 1979.lol However the poor guy was apparrently doing what he thought best to protect his daughter inside his own home and is now facing a felony charge which will tarnish his record forever, not mention a financial situation with lawyers and such. If on the other hand, he chased him out of the home and then hit the young man ,then so be it. I do think some domestic vilolence laws have meant well, but have been misconstrued by some. Not a debate, just what I think. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

3 girls and I dont even want to think about how I was as a young lad, I know I had some whoopings coming my way. lol but its a whole different story when you start raising girls. I now see it from a dads point of view. whoop em both so one wont want to talk the other in to doing anything daddy dont approve of
