Been there 12 screws in a double broken ankle
ANYWAY
Expect to see a lot of post from you seeing as how
your hands are ok
I finally had the surgery on my foot last Thursday. It was a lot more painful than I expected. I had planned on going back to work this week but the Dr. advised against it. I figured he was being overly cautious, but now I realize why he wanted me to stay home. I am hobbling around using a cane, but I sure am glad I got this over with. It will be around four weeks before I am fully recovered. Hope I am well even where I can get out and do some fishing in a couple of weeks.

Jim hope everything heals up good with no problems.
im glad you got your foot fixed.take heed on the docs orders and dont over do it..
i never thought my wrist surgery would hurt as bad as it did but good grief it hurt..
The Mrs. is really ticked at me for not resting like I should. I am not one for just sitting still, so this is hard on me. I got so bored earlier I went hunting cottonmouth's with the .22 around the pond. Found two but couldn't get a shot at either one. I wonder what the neighbors think seeing me walking around the pond with a cane in one hand and a .22 in the other.

Hey Jim, I am not too far from you so let me know if I can help out in any way while you are recovering. you have my phone number. Jimmy S.
do what the doc says,,,you don't even want to come down with a staph infection,(msra),,at best you could get over it with lots on meds(i was on antibiotics for over 100 days straight with mine) and the worst is you could loose your foot,,,,,just a thought

The hard part is over Jim...Rest while you can. I have knee surgery coming up next week and it will be hard to just lay around for a couple of weeks, but rest is the best in the long run.......
