Charlie Elliott would be a good option, although swimming is not allowed.
They have 12-15 ponds up to about 100 acres in size. There's a campground on site.

Lake Tobosofkee just north of Macon might be a good lake. They have camping, swimming and fishing. They are finishing a water park there too. The fishing is great in the spring before the jet skis and the water ski people get out there. I have caught many a limit of nice crappie there. A lot of people don't even realize how good the fishing is there. Like any lake you have to learn it and it's secrets. It is not a very big lake though. It has a sand beach for swimming. It is pretty well maintained and there are Rangers there for safety.
Georgia Veterans state park at Cordele has a great campsite on the water also have a sand beech some pier in the area to fish off of .
retired and now i will always fish
