I feel your pain, Budman. I go in for a total knee replacement on Friday. I hear the rehab on both surgeries are tough but the rewards in the end are worth it...Gotta get ready for some Fall and Winter Slab Slaying!!!...Good Luck to you!!

Best wishes to both you guys. Have not had either done myself but know several that have. They all said the same thing, lots of meds to keep pain down during rehab and rehab hard. Mostly just hope all goes well and ya heal quick.

Surgery should be your last resort. If you absolutely can't live with the pain have the surgery. No surgery is guaranteed and sometimes it makes things worse. Anesthesia is hard on the body too. Weigh the risk to benefit ratio and good luck on your decision.
