Rusty: I musta been thinking about you when I snapped that photo of a RAG FLY jig in that slabs mouth! You'll do great onthe 18th!
I know alot of people that know me are gonna laugh alot after reading this post. This November 17th marks the 1 year anniverary of my mom's passing. One of my mom's favorite songs was "The Old Rugged Cross". Well I will be giving a short testimony and then I will sing "The Old Rugged Cross" solo in front of my church in memory of my momma Nancy I. Parker. I have never done anything like this in my entire life and that is why I am asking for prayers. If any of you can attend this service it would make it that much better. It is at Pleasent Grove Baptist church that is about 5 or 6 miles south of Cordele on Hwy 90 and the date is November 18th at 11am. ANother reason for psoting this is because ya'll are my family. Thank you all and GOD Bless everyone.

Rusty,
The Bible says "Make a joyful noise on to The Lord." So if you miss a few notes it does not matter. The Lord cares that you are singing with a right heart not the right notes. I will be praying for you. Wes
We are praying for you as "we all need the prayers of those we love". The Master will have His Angels singing with you Brother. You will not be alone. Hold your head high and sing loud for you are praising and worshipping the Almighty Father.
Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. I went to church last night and the pastor helped me practice. As I was singing the song for the 2nd time I looked up and saw that there were around 10 people in the church. What surprised me was that I finished the song. Pastor said I did ok and needed to work on singing the chorus a bit better. Thank you Wes and Andy for the kind words and again thank you all for your prayers and support. GOD Bless you all.
