used as up right rod holders while traveling between fishing spots as long as you don't have to go under low bridges or tree limbs!!! makes it quicker to get back to fishing after a move and less likely to tangle.....

You can stand your rods up in the PVC holders when you move from spot to spot. It is easier than laying them down each time.
The ones in his picture look like hose clamps like for radiator hose. Guess you could use heavy duty zip ties? Whatever you use, make sure they hold the pvc tight to the rod holders. I am still just laying my rods down in the boat, but I have a lot of room on my deck.

Pictures are not very good. The only camera I have is in my phone. Sure have enjoyed it so far. Its only 3 years old to me. The small picture is from when I bought it. It still had the TN registration numbers.
