Im on the everstart bandwagon too. Not a bad battery for the money, and as stated before, you can ALWAYS find a wallyworld
I bought the Maxx Marine batteries from WalMart. Unless their warranty has changed (from what I have read on this thread), 18 month free replacement. I have had real good luck with these batteries. The good thing about buying from WalMart is no matter where you fish, there is always a WalMart close by.

Not sure what you are calling a lot of money but as far as I'm concerned you can't beat an AC Delco Voyager....I was going on my 4th year with my last set in my stratos when my charger went out....one battery was still good but the other hadn't been getting a full charge so it went out....They run about a little less than 100 for the 27 series and little more for the 29 series....awesome batteries with a great reputation....peace of mind is worth the little extra money when it comes to making long trips away from home fishing......just my opinion though...
there was a Delco plant here and i could git the employees to gitme a battery no warent but they wer $35.00 . had some for 5 years or longer befor they went out . now i buy what is on sale .most battries are made in the same plant . i know they made sears and other brand here in this plant.
retired and now i will always fish
I use the the Maxx from Wal-Mart also. I had my trolling battery die last spring and they gave me a brand new one, no questions asked. I just bought one for my starting battery. I have been pleased with them.
My local walmart doesnt warrant their marine batts anymore so I'll be looking elsewhere. All I have used the past decade were walmart batts.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
thanks for all the input.....narrowed it down to either Maxx or Interstate....good point about the W/M are everywhere and I did call two local stores today and both said 12mth replacement and 24 mth prorate $85 for series 29....Interstate has a store close to my home and they have a good rep for long life and series 29 are $95 with 210 min reserve....I was trying to do 2 so I could run parrallel but until I figure out how to configure them to fit with the on board charger I will just replace the one for now.....thanks again and please keep posting because someone else may need to know too

Been using AC Delco for about 14 years now. As long as you put a charger on them when you return home you will get 4 years out of them. I do replace them after 3 years, but the people I gave them to still get 2 more years out of them.
I use a couple of squirrels and a hampster to power mine.
Birddog,
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
My vote is for the AC Delco Marine Deep Cycle Battery as well. Those things are simply awesome. Two words descibe them THEY LAST!
PS
The store at Sugar Creek Marina on Lake Oconee at one time was carrying them.
