    Default lightwire hooks

Swung through cochran on the way home today and picked up a few(10) packs of the lightwire jig heads. I cant wait to try them out tomorrow!! I got two packs each of five different colors - they sure are purty - i almost hate to put them in the water. Im anxious to hang a stump in the morning so i can pull it loose and hopefully not have to re-tie a jig head on:D

THESE HOOKS ARE AWESOME!!!! Fished all day with them and even caught a big hybrid on one. I did get hung up a couple times and the hook would come right out but no problem at all pulling in crappie! I am SOLD on these jig heads!!!

If he picked them up in Cochran he probably got the from Crappie.com member, goes by: 'lightwirehooker' his name is (Curtis Hobbs). I bought some at Lake Talquin Lodge, then later bought some from Curtis. They are fantastic! Fewer break-offs, more fishing time. He has a heck of a good color selection & he cleans the eyes out. Will save time & money in the long run.

Looks like we got another converted over to the enjoyment of fishing without tying on another Hook/Lead/Jig everytime you get hung along with fishing right out of the package. I hate to get a hook out and have to clean out the eye before tying. Every Hook I get back, I say "I just saved $.35 cents".......and that happens a lot at Talquin.

Hey lightwirehooker, I just happened to learn from the best. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that, "If your line ain't in the water you can't catch fish"! I've been telling people about the hooks & Lake Talquin Lodge. I can hardly wait to come back. Fishing will start getting hot up here pretty soon. Good fish'n!!

Fishing should be good till 1st of June at Talquin, after that long wait until fall starts to appear. Hope to see you again soon. Don't forget all the pointers and remember.....don't pull in the fish before the fish is on the hook.........and don't be a jerker.

I also learned from the best at lake talquin and got many of those jigs at lake talquin lodge, but you better set your drag right. I got 3 of my poles hooked up on a stump and had watched you pull them loose by letting them stay in the holder. well before i know it my boat was turning and the poles were pulling out of the holders and i'm grabbing for my shimano reels and fell in the boat and cracked a rib. lost 3 good shimano reels and poles because those jigs are strong. curtis also has foam on his rods so they will float.
Still learning and will be back this sun. to try some more. Hope to see you this trip. fishing down here at tampa stinks, I'm ready!!!!
