I'll be the first to stand up and shout as loud as I can...I am a conservative. I believe in less Government and more personal responsibility. I don't want nor need the Government to take my money and then tell me how I should live. When and where I should go to the Doctor. I am capable of handling my business thank you very much! I want no more Government than is neccassary to complete it's task given it by the Constitution of the U.S. of A.
I LOVED Ronald Reagan as our President. I liked George W. Bush. I do wish however he'd found his veto pen when it came to growing our Government and increasing our national debt.
A debt, I'll remind you that President Obama has more than tripled in less than a year in office.
And this "off topic" forum is the appropriate place... as far as I understand it, to discuss our opinions about what's going on in our country. WE SHOULD talk about it... in a civil way. The Georgia Crappie forum would be the inappropriate place to discuss politics, religion or sex.
Your right about the three sins of business... but this is NOT a business.... it's a "off topic forum"....

I completely understand the "lets all get along" sentiment of your post because we're all fishermen... I got it. And I agree... I don't hold it against anyone because they are Democrats. Just as I hope no one holds it against me because I'm a conservative. NOTICE I did not say Republican... The Republican party has been way to liberal for my taste as of the past 10 years.
My understanding to the rules of this site, as long as our discussions are respectful, without personal attacks and does not contain inappropriate language... then the post is acceptable.

but please don't attempt to sensor the topics of the "off topic forum".... we have moderators who are very good at taking care of this if we, the posters violate the terms of the web site.
