I have been a fan for a long time and can't remember being this excited about what is happening. But I can remember the ole "haven't had back to back winning seasons" so I stay cautious. If the Falcons were a woman I'd left her many years ago. However, today I raise my pom-pom and shout proudly I'M A FALCONS FAN!!!!

I used to go to the games all the time with my dad, let me take you back quite a few years, we would go to me the guys when they came out of the locker room to go home a get autographs, we're talking about Bartkowski and a giant of man named Wilson fumbwina he was the biggest and nicest man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, those names bring back such great memories.

I grew up wearing the #60 in pop warner football. My favorite player was tommy Nobis. Shame he will never be in the HOF in Canton.
I remember going to the games at the old Fulton county stadium. Watching the Falcons lose most of the time. I remember hating Roman gabriel and the LA Rams for beating us yr after year
Bart and company were the good years. 1980 was a great team
The last game I went to was in 2004 I think. It was the bucs when warwick dunn beat us on some big runs. I went to training camp for a few years but havn't the last few years.
Win or lose I am a Falcon fan and very happy with the success they are having now. the first forum I ever posted on was

    Default Saints Fan Here...

Smitty, if anybody knows about long-suffering, it's both Falcons and Saints fans. For years we were the doormats in the NFC West. I think it's great that now we appear to be the front runners in the NFC South and the Bucs and Panthers are the doormats! Hope it stays like this a looooooonnnng time!

Oh yeah...that Saints-Falcons Monday Nighter is gonna be a war!!

    Who Dat!

The rivalry all these years is because that was the only teams they had a chance to win was with each other. I loved it when Morten kicked that last second FG the yr he became a Falcon. he had nailed us so many times.. remember the big Ben play where the Falcons won on the last play..

I'll don't know who Dat but I do Know Who Dat is gonna beat Dem Saints.:D

    SOAR Falcons!

There have been alot of great players for the Falcons over the years but if I had to pick just one I think it woudl be The Gritz Blitz. (Yes the entire defense)

    Default Falcons

When they make it to the Superbowl, I just wish some of the older players that played so long & hard with them all those losing years could be with them that great day.
I'm sure glad the coaching situation turned out like it did. I think Smith is doing a great job. I would like to see them go all black uniforms again like the Glanville days.
    Go FALCONS!
