Thread: Ogeechee Last Friday

Cracker Jack, I live in Savannah and have fished that river a lot in the years past from Hy 204 down to Hy. 17 south at Richmond Hill. I have caught some really nice red breast there in the past but my health has took a down turn in the recent past and I am not able to do much fishing lately. I think the fish in that river are safe now. we have had a number of years that the water level stayed up and the river was flushed out pretty well. I am not saying it is what it was before, I wish it was. it a shame what King Refinshing did to the river for 200 jobs. makes me sick. we have river keepers watching it pretty close now doing water samples on a regular basis. hope you get a chance to go, it is a pretty river.
