    That's a sweet bait I bet the Red breast tear that up. I put a safety pin spinner on the jig when I pitch em for bream.

    Danbo, when I was younger slogging up and down Gum swamp my fav bream lure was a 1/16 Rooster tail with a charteuse tail (think they called it a perch color) with a safety pin spinner (off a number 2 beetle spin). Those 2 blades allowed you to really slow roll that lil bait…the bream, jack, and red fin pike loved that thing. I would clip 1 hook off the treble and flatten out the remaining ones to keep it from snagging on limbs. Has anyone else ever done that or something similar?
