Not sure why the pic posted sideways but you get the idea.
Hello, new to the Forum and really to Crappie fishing specifically as i grew up fishing Bass and Trout. However, moved to a lake with some decent Crappie fishing so my son and i have been honing our ability to catch them through the ice which led me to this forum. Hope to mine a lot of knowledge from members here!
Figured i’d post one i caught last night during a quick fishing trip a sandwiched in between work and dinner.
Welcome to the forum. Nice crappie. Lots of good friendly people here that will be glad to help.
Welcome aboard
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Your picture came out sideways likely because you took it with your phone and posted it straight from the browser, or you loaded it to your computer and posted it from there.
Download the free Crappie.com app and use it to post from thru your phone. You can always preview the results by going to the Testing Area Forum and posting your pics there to see if the orientation of the pic is going to come out correct. (Testing Area Forum is under Misc. Forums link in the app)
Sideways pics are a longstanding problem on the site, and due to the constant updating going on within the system (site, internet, phone). The site doesn't always understand the orientation code of the picture & tries to correct it ... which results in the picture being tilted to the left 1/4 turn.
Welcome to Crappie.com from SA PA!.
