I am sorry I cannot help you. Have you posed the same question on the Indiana STATE FORUMS page? Good luck and tight lines. Welcome to Crappie.Com as well.
Hey guys, wife & I bought a place on Lake Manitou IN.
Im trying to figure out how to fish this lake for Crappie. No structure in the lake except for a few around the shallow islands...2’-3’ deep. I hear from others the Crappie move into the channels to spawn. IVe caught 2 fish so far this Spring on minnows in the channels. No bites on jigs. The lake has boat lifts & docks that are being installed in spring. You can see the lake on Navionics. Went to another lake last weekend and caught around 50 Crappie on jigs on stumps/timber. Manitou layout can be seen on Navionics. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome aboard from East Tennessee. Once installed the docks should be a hotspot on that lake if it has no other cover/ structure. Be a great place to create structure also

People will often drop brush piles in the lakes. You have to find them using your depthfinder. While not "structure" and actually "cover", they work well (until everyone finds them). In Texas, people would use real Christmas trees, let them dry out and then drag them into the water when no one was watching. Some would put them right off the end of their dock, some would go into a more "common" area.
