    Just wanted to introduce myself to the group and say Hi. Not a novice fisherman but been a long time since fished for Crappie. Concentrated on Bass for over 40 years until recently. Sold the Ranger a couple of years ago and then decided this past year to try something different. So my wife bought her a boat for her birthday (a 2017 218 dlv Carolina Skiff) and said I could use it anytime I liked (she is so sweet). We started getting interested in trying to learn to spider rig for crappie and then saw a seminar on trolling. My wife and I want to learn to do both. I have been reading this forum for several weeks and hope I can hook up with someone on here to show me the ropes (not their honey holes) just the whats and how tos.
    My name is Chris and my wife is Terry. I am a retired Baptist Pastor, former US Navy K9 Handler Vietnam Veteran. Will turn 70 this year.
    Sorry for the long post but looking forward to getting to know you all. Stretched Strings and Loaded Livewells.

    Please don"t be SORRY for what you call a long post. We on c.c like to hear from new posters and there is lots of knowledgeable folks on this site willing to help answer all kinds of questions on fishing etc.It is just what I was told when I first joined------------THERE ARE NO DUMB QUESTIONS

    Sandyskiff I'm from cherryville about five miles from ya. I long line almost 75% of the time and spider rig the rest so I'll be glad to take you anytime you and your wife want to go.
