Thank you, just joined, have lived and fished all my life here on Clear lake. The lake is ranked very high as a bass lake, but has had a poor population of crappie for nearly 40 years. In the early eighties it was hot, and now it's almost as good as then.Lots of pressure from dock and shore anglers from out of the area, but hardly any boat pressure. From this site, and a little homework my friends and I have been able to catch these great fish, almost exclusively black crappie, more often than not
