    Default Hello from Wedgefield SC

I'm retired Air Force '97 and love my Savior Jesus Christ very happily married 25 years (just renewed our vows today at our church because we were originally married in a bar during our BC days)

I'm not necessarily new, just haven't been very active here on this forum. I really enjoy fishing, just can't seem to find the crappie very consistently. I don't know what I'm looking at a lot on my fish finder. (Lowrance Elite 5DSI). How to find brush piles, structure that attracts crappies etc.

I'm 20 minutes from Packs landing on lake Marion but really prefer lake Wateree. I went out of Wateree state park yesterday but couldn't find them. I fished along the channel at Taylor creek and Dutchman but no luck. The water was pretty dirty and the wind made it hard to fish (tight lining). We have an 18' sun tracker fishing pontoon.

Is is there some fish finder instructions video or photo instructions that help clarify what I'm seeing on my unit?

I'm amazed with this forum and how willing many are to share helpful information, so thanks so much in advance to all who can help this fishing blind ol' fisherman.
