Welcome from Missouri.
Hello all. They call me Sailor Russ, a fine/tattoo artist from Central Florida. I have been fishing since I was a kid, having the awesome experience of watching my pole jump across the water and a shark pulled it at 6 years old.
No pun intended, I was hooked.
I’m fishing Lk. Poinsett but I also have a few spots I don’t want to mention. The area I live in is covered with little holes, perfect for fishing crappie. I am at the moment using a ten foot B’ n ‘M cane pole, and have also gotten into old time, “blind eye” hook fishing.
I wish to add to the conversation, but as I am new to fresh water fishing, I grew up on the beach so it was all salt and brackish, I won’t have too much to say at first. But I’ll be happy to make anyone’s acquaintance and give any knowledge that I have to pass on to the younger generation. Or older for that matter.
Thanks for your time in reading this & fish on.

Thanks for saying hello, and such a nice greeting. I was laughing at "East LA". My mind was reeling (pun intended) at the thought of crappie in the LA River. I was going to start asking a bunch of "So what's fishing in the Salton Sea Like these days?" type questions.
