I am new to Lower Alabama. Moved here two years ago from Maryland. Smallmouth bass and trout. Learning a whole new ball game. Trying to learn the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. Not much on Saltwater. Enjoy bass and bream or crappie or whaterver you'all call them! Any advise would be appreciated.

I grew up on salt and brackish water fishing. Just started fishing the upper delta in mobile county last year. First learn where the ramps are near areas you might like to fish. This can be found on Outdoor Alabama web site. Do some recons first by car then by boat learning the area and notice what others are doing. Ask questions on this site and just do searches here of old posts having to do with what your are interested in. I have learned enough here in the past year to become successful catching " white pearch " , ( crappie ). Read everything here Crappie Pappy has to offer. Just go fishing and have fun.

Thanks. I have fished out of Cliffs Landing, Meaher Park, and Live Oak. Trying to learn. Purchased some crappie lures and tackle. I am retired and need something to keep me from rusting in a chair.
