    I have enjoyed reading the site for a little while now and thought I would just go ahead and join.

    I live in the south western part of Kentucky, and while I have enjoyed fishing for many years, I never have really fished for crappie. As I have gotten older the idea of targeting crappie has started to really appeal to me. I also have two young children that are now starting to fish with me and they also both love to eat fish as well as fish for them so I have decided this year will be the year I try and learn how to fish for (and hopefully catch) some crappie.

    Bear with me, I may occasionally ask some dumb questions or start some threads trying to pick a few brains as It try and learn.

    If you've been reading the site for a while, then you know to ask KY specific questions on the KY Forum & general questions on the Main Forum, to get the most replies specific to those questions.

    Re-read the site rules, in the sticky thread on the Main Forum, just to familiarize yourself with how we expect members to conduct themselves. And PM me with any problems you may be having with the site, or with questions relating to something you want to post, but are not sure if it's within the site rules. If I can't answer your question, I know to whom to forward the PM & get you the help you need.

    There are a lot of good guys/gals in the Western Ky area, that are site members that will gladly offer their advice & opinions on the local waters. Come join in the discussions !!
