Many thanks for the invite RM, but unfortunately I am about 329 miles from Ocala. Actually out about 3 miles north of exit 56 on I-10 in Crestview, Fl. But Sir, I do greatly appreciate the invite. SOmetime in the future when I am in your neighbor hood over there I will see about taking you up on that invite though...Eric

Eric, it seems like kicking you while you were down just wasn't good enough for someone....after you were kicked, you were run over a couple of times! Glad your surgery went well. Don't feel guilty about not posting reports....lots of folks don't, and frankly my state has gotten really bad at reports. Not sure why...maybe the whole state has poor fishing and no one wants to talk about their own failures....I know I don't. Or maybe lurkers have them all scared. Just enjoy the site and don't worry about posts unless you want to share!

Thanks vic n. Seems like all I'm doing lately is surfin' the site. I put my 2 cents in when I can. My brother-in-law has been talking of taking me out fishing all summer long. Sure glad I didn't hold my breath. I believe I would be with the Angels already,lol. I can not get to any lakes as right now the state is holding my license for some tickets that my ex swears to me was paid, but can not show me where they were. I couldn't do it and drive that 18 wheeler too. Well let me refraze that. I was told to go earn her Wal-Mart money and she would handle them. OK, I did my part, and I guess she did her part too. Spend or give it to her no good friends. Well needless to say, she is my ex, and now I'm unable to make what I need to pay them off and get it back. Least wise till my disability check from the VA kicks in. Seems back when, then President, Clinton reduced the number of service members back in 1991-92, well they gave me a payment to buy out the remainder of time on my time in service contract. Well now they are telling me all that has to be paid back before I receive my first payment. Just how much more is there going to be....I mean, Just pile it on as high as you can, really. Well as it looks now I should get my first payment around March or April. If it weren't for family, I would be on the street. But At 55 yrs old, I am the youngest one here in the house, and unfortunately have to rely on them to take me fishing. However, I was able to come up with a mountain bike, neighbor felt sorry for me and gave it to me, lol, SO, I am going to get my pole and a few of my jigs and go find me some water, even if it is a mud puddle and see if I can catch some fish. If I can figure out how to post pic's on here I will show you all what I get and what puddle I found... Thank you all for listening, ( reading) to my tale of woe. No, I don't want pitty, as For what ever reason the Man upstairs is trying to teach me something. Just not bright enough yet to figure out what it is, unless of course it is that we can take more burdon than any man thought he ever could. If I can figure out where to put a sticker on this bike, I am going to put one on it....lol Tight lines everyone.

Well, young man....it sure seems you are snake bit right now. Hopefully things will get better for you (they can't get much worse!) When you're out fishing those ponds, watch for those logs with eyes....with your luck one of those gators will take a toe off for you. Glad you have some family to help you through these hard times.
