Thread: Hey there, yep, im new here..

Hey all, Im new to the site, been searching for a good site that is visited often and has active members.. Looks like I may have found the right site! Semi-new to crappie fishing (within the last few years).. Fished when I was young, when I lost my father, had no one to take/teach me, so I didnt fish anymore, till the last 4-5 years or so.. (lost a well paying job in 08') Had to pick up a new/cheaper hobby--Fishing!! And Im seriously hooked.. I fish year round in Northern IL.. And got lucky enough to tag along w/ some old timers in last April for their annual crappie trip to Kentucky Lake/ Jonathon Creek..I won big fish last year w/ a 16 1/2"-2lber!!!(Hope they wont be scared to invite me again this year, haha) That has me on the search for bigger/better, ofcourse.. I hope i can learn from some of the people on this site as well as share what little true experience I have..
