Best to ask over on the Virginia board. Welcome from Mississippi.
Hi,
I just found this site. I found some pretty disturbing post from several years ago, describing the state of Bob's Fishing Hole. Run down, Trash every where, no bait shop, dangerous and damaging boat ramp, etc.
Many of the posts refused to ever go there again.
I went to BFH's website and found a very active site discussing tournaments, etc. and no mention of the uglyliness mentioned earlier.
I grew up fishing there in the 50's before Bob puchased it, fished off the RR tressel, cause we couldn't afford a boat rental. Later, as an adult, I purchased the last 2 14' wooden jon boats from the fleet, as it was changed to aluminum.
I was just wondering if the conditions have improved I recently have moved back to the area, but live over an hour away, and didn't want to waste a fishing day to find out for myself, if I could avoid it.
Thanks,
Jed

Thanks G,
I can see how that would be a good thing, however, I can't seem to figure out how to post State Specific. I must be missing something. Please advise.
Thanks,
Jed
