Welcome from Mississippi.
Just joined the site, also just relocated to central Fl. I have a boat and close access to Lake Monroe and St. Johns river. Any advice on getting started on these hot August days for crappie or bream would be appreciated. I have two local Grandsons, ages 9 and 7, and am anxious to get them started catching fish.
Thanks in advance for any local advice. Lucca

Hey Mike, That's a very generous offer. Thanks. I think I'll do that and plan to launch from Monroe Park about that time too. My boat is a skiff/flat boat, blue and I drive a tan F150. If I'm up early I might even launch at the public launch across the way and meet you at the monroe park dock in my boat. What do you suggest I bring for bait? Crikets and worms? Thanks again and I hope to see you Thursday morning at 7. Lee aka Lucca
