Yes, you can upload pics off your phone. Many members ONLY post pics off their phones. Some use the Tapatalk app, while others use other apps.
The only problem with phone pics loading to this site is this site may load the pic in your post upside down or tilted to the left 1/4 turn (sideways). The site appears to translate phone pics into "landscape" mode, all by itself. So, when you take a pic with the phone held upright (portrait mode), it will appear in your post sideways (landscape). If you take the pic with the phone tilted to the left, the pic will come out upside down. So, in order to insure the pic will be in the correct position when posted, you need to take the picture with your phone tilted to the right (sideways with top of phone to your right).
I believe this to be correct, but advise people to use the Test Forum to see if their phone pics need to be done this way. I do not know enough about cellphones to know if they have a portrait/landscape feature, and whether or not they will still upload correctly if the landscape feature is used.
We do not currently have any site feature to rotate pics to the correct orientation, which is why we tell people to use the Test Forum to see how their phone pics will upload & then orient their phones to compensate ... or else use a hosting site (like Photobucket) which does have a feature that will allow you to rotate pics, if necessary.
Hosting sites, like Photobucket, have a "free" version. They're quite useful, in that you can store pics on their site & they're safe from any computer crash, phone crash, or any operator error that results in the loss of those pics from your personal devices. You can even keep them "private" (not accessible by the general public) ... though, once posted on here, they are subject to being seen publicly (via Google Search, in the Images link, as well as through links to the posts on this site, or any other site where the pic is posted).
CP thanks, will try that.
Hi I'm new to crappie.com I am having a hard time trying to figure out how to send messages,
I am taking a trip down to Washington lake ms.the last week of March and was wondering which equipment to take jigging poles, trolling poles,or longlining equipment.
Anyone familiar with this lake in late March I would appreciate any input.
Thanks!
If your talking about Lake Washington in MS......would be best to ask over on the MS board.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
